A Beautiful Wedding Highlighted Mexican Tradition

The month of May seems so long ago now that the temperatures are bottoming out below zero so I saved this happy event video to share it’s warmth with you now. Stephanie and Marco quickly became one of my favorite couples with their happy nature and devoted faith traditions.

Incorporating the classic wedding ceremony along with the baptism of their sweet little baby daughter as well as many other interesting Mexican traditions, this ceremony, held at the former Nativity Parish in Scranton was one of the more unique I have covered in recent years. The couple’s easy, laid back dispositions and bright smiling faces just brightened my attitude every time I had them in my camera view.
Everyone involved with the wedding was more than cooperative and easy to get along with from the family to Stephanie’s brother to the help I received from Wenceslao Cruz who played a major role in planning the ceremony. I being Polish, particularly enjoyed the party activities at the reception which followed at the reception; especially the chair dance called ‘La Vibora De La Mar’ which puts our dollar dance to shame! They even borrowed my fedora for the bride to wear as a prop during part of the festivities. If you ever get to attend one of these events you will really be entertained!
